Danielle Hake, CSW Intern
Danielle has several openings as she fills her caseload! Our interns receive direct observational supervision, giving you background expertise from our most experienced clinicians.
I’m Danielle (they/she), a clinical social work intern earning my Master’s in Social Work at Colorado State University. I provide trauma-informed therapy for teens and adults. As a queer, genderfluid, and neurodivergent person with lived experience, I know how painful it can be to feel misunderstood, pathologized, or dismissed in therapy. My goal is to create a space where your full complexity is honored and your survival is met with care and respect.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity, consent, and care. My areas of clinical interest include clients navigating complex PTSD, dissociation, neurodivergence, religious trauma, and the effects of other institutional betrayals. Along with folks exploring body image, internalized fatphobia, queer and trans identity development, and the lasting impact of childhood trauma and attachment wounds.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed narrative therapy to support reconnection, self-trust, and reclaiming parts of your story that may have been silenced. Whether you're well into your healing or just starting to explore what that could mean, I’m here to hold space with compassion and intention.
If we work together, my hope is that you feel supported, understood, and able to show up fully as yourself. I’ll meet you with curiosity and care, honoring your pace and your path. I'm here whenever you're ready.
I accept HSA/HRA/FSA, out-of-network and in-network insurance coverage with Optum/United/UMR, Aetna, Anthem, and Cigna
I also provide sliding scale upon request.
