Beth Benn, Clinical Social Work Intern
Beth has openings as she builds her caseload.
Being human means inhabiting a form of existence that is both delicate and extraordinary. We continually move between what we hope for and what is possible, between who we have been and who we are becoming. These challenges are real, but so is the profound capacity for meaning, connection, and transformation.
My academic path reflects my commitment to understanding the human experience. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies at University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in Sociology at University of Colorado Denver. I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at Colorado State University. My professional experience spans higher education, research, and social work in government and community-based settings. This range of experience helped me develop a deep understanding of how systems, structures, and environments profoundly shape our realities.
In my therapeutic practice, I lead with curiosity and a commitment to deep listening. I center clients’ strengths and support change that emerges authentically from within. I hope to cultivate a safe space that nurtures self-intimacy and helps reveal you to you. I utilize a mix of modalities such as person-centered, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I accept HSA/HRA/FSA, out-of-network and in-network insurance coverage with Optum/United/UMR, Anthem/BCBS, Aetna, Colorado Medicaid and Cigna. I also accept private-pay and offer sliding scale for those that qualify. Please reach out to our office if you have any questions about session payment.
